We're pretending to see what it would be like to play in the nation's best WCBB conference, the SEC.This game is a mason's convention
You're right about post players and Butler does this too, Geno will hopefully coach that out of her. Now that I think of it, when you watch teams that can't run offense there is a ton of pointless dribbling, and all dribbling does is give the other team a chance to knock it away for a turnover. One thing, among many, that I love about Tuck's game is that when she gets a high pass in the post, she literally turns, keeps the ball high, and lays it in. It seems like 99% of the post players, even when they are super deep in the post and they get the ball high, they put it on the floor instead of going right up for the layup...
I think Kia is thinking too much about her shooting slump. An important factor in making shots is confidence and Kia's isn't there right now.You can see at the end of the half they were looking for KLS - she was still able to score- shoot over the opposition. And Gabby- how often do we hear how well Gabby has played? I really think Nurse's shot is off because she is a bit worn down.
And I think senior day affected the seniors a lot.
This calls for some Boneyard speculation and discussion, so let's gets started early.
First zinger of the day? Wondering if @Huskies Rule had inside information and played us? Or, maybe he was trying to give us a "sworn to secrecy" peek.
Lots of discussion about Tuck, has anyone else noticed that Mo has lost her outside shot?Tuck has been a shell of herself since the 2 week rest she took.
"Oh my" observations from 1st half:
#1 Nan was right. Tulane got hosed by the refs. I usually bark about bad refs and today is no exception but Tulane is the team getting the short end.
#2 That first quarter was our "homage" to the TENN offense![]()
