No Gabby Williams in the first half.

Seems like it would be a good athletic type game for her. Maybe he's concerned about the SJ good quick ball movement and her ability to guard them?

I suppose, but then she's usually in with the other guards so I wouldn't think she'd have to defend them. Just feels like her energy and play-making would help. But then I was concerned that Geno doesn't trust her in tough games. Doubt Ekmark sees the floor either unless the Huskies break it open.

KML has been a non-factor in too many halves this year.

To me this is the story of the year.

There is no way a 1st team senior All American should be as contained as much as she is. Especially with defenses focusing on Stewart.

Her play this year is what has made a seemingly unbeatable team be beatable.

I don't know about this team. Good players, not quite a team yet.

Agree. Right now they are capable of winning a National Title. Or being upset in the Sweet 16/Elite 8. Just too many bad stretches during games right now. Hope it starts to decrease.

Chong is hurting them on both ends of the floor.

Only reason I can see for Chong playing today is to give Kia and Moriah a few minutes rest against the quick StJohn's guards. Otherwise just a liability

Geno has been great at "motivating" the team over half-time this year. Let's see if that holds today.

That's where I want Stewart all game long. She is so tough at that foul line area.

44-31, including a UConn shot-clock violation because of some sloppy passing.

Oh, well.

Smart play by Jefferson. She had a wide open 3 but saw Tuck had the mismatch in the post and passed it to her instead for an easy 2.

Nice way to start the 2nd half, UConn!! We are kicking up the intensity on defense!!!

St. John's down to 39% shooting, and only 1 of 4 threes. No need to extend the defense beyond the arc.

We have Mo, Tuck, and Stewie in double figures with scoring and Stewie 2 boards away from a double-double.
