Stewie heating up; 9 pts and Mo loves the Garden!! 14 points!!!

UConn: 33

St John: 24

Kia and Morgan ready to check back in. Kaleena is so seriously faceguarded that they might as well be playing four on four.

33-24

Not a bad second timeout for St. John's. Down 33-24. Won't be needing them when the lead balloons in 3...2...1...

I love it when the game is played at this tempo. Open court, baby!!

Whoa....Kia might want to check the range on that shot. Wow ;)

Charge--block--charge--Gotta be quick to pick up the difference.

Tuck called for the charge.

Geno ain't gonna be happy with this half either. St. John's has gotten to nearly every loose ball and has made UConn look slow quite often.

No Gabby Williams in the first half.

Seems like it would be a good athletic type game for her. Maybe he's concerned about the SJ good quick ball movement and her ability to guard them?

I suppose, but then she's usually in with the other guards so I wouldn't think she'd have to defend them. Just feels like her energy and play-making would help. But then I was concerned that Geno doesn't trust her in tough games. Doubt Ekmark sees the floor either unless the Huskies break it open.

KML has been a non-factor in too many halves this year.

To me this is the story of the year.

There is no way a 1st team senior All American should be as contained as much as she is. Especially with defenses focusing on Stewart.

Her play this year is what has made a seemingly unbeatable team be beatable.

I don't know about this team. Good players, not quite a team yet.

Agree. Right now they are capable of winning a National Title. Or being upset in the Sweet 16/Elite 8. Just too many bad stretches during games right now. Hope it starts to decrease.
