UConn vs. SFNY Game Thread

KML hasn't shot the ball well in 2nd half recently. Hopefully tonight she reverses the trend. She needs at least two 3's in the 2nd half to keep pace with breaking 3 point career record. Will have to get them early as she'll probably be on the bench with 10 minutes to go.

Sad low life comment from anyone that should show more class as a UCONN fan. Even our most stout competitors consider UCONN fans knowledgeably and respectful of other teams. You must have missed the bus on that one.

I wasn't referring to the offense in the paint. I was pointing to shots from 15' on out that were missing badly at the time I posted.

Nurse is doing quite nicely. KML & Mo may be having physical issues so I'm not too concerned about them not hitting.
Tuck & Stewie scoring inside at will so not much need for them to shoot from the perimeter.

Agree, at least in part. ESPN has been using the Princeton "story" to poke a stick in the eye of the Husky fanbase. Our game wasn't one minute old before announcer bozo #1 made reference to the freakin' Stanford loss. Bozo #2, a ND guy, doesn't know anything about WBB, so he offers useless pointers on shooting skills.

Well, I mind a bit that she has a problem with free throws, because that means
that if we're ever in a game where we're trying to protect a slim lead in the
closing minutes, Gabby will be on the bench and not in the game. Her many
skills will be lost to the team in that circumstance.

I agree on the general thin skinned statement. It seems many here think that the world is conspiring against us. Examples: certain refs hate UCONN, the committee sticks us in bad brackets, ESPN schedules us at bad times, certain announcers play us down, yada yada yada. It's ridiculous.
