I know but they're a $hitty team that plays high school level talent. If Princeton were in the AAC would they even be a top 5 team in the conference? Watching these highlights on ESPN reminds me of how terrible WCBB teams outside the top 5 are.

Agree, at least in part. ESPN has been using the Princeton "story" to poke a stick in the eye of the Husky fanbase. Our game wasn't one minute old before announcer bozo #1 made reference to the freakin' Stanford loss. Bozo #2, a ND guy, doesn't know anything about WBB, so he offers useless pointers on shooting skills.

Honest question: why is a school like St. Francis even D1? If their enrollment is only 2,700, how competitive can their teams actually be? Why not drop down to D2 or D3?

Odd, isn't it? And the talking heads keep referring to my Alma Mater as a "mid-major." It has 24,000 on campus. I worked at a community college that enrolled more students than Notre Dame. But even locally, people think of it as small. It isn't.
