Bria's put up points today, but she's made some really poor decisions. It's like when she decides she's driving, she's going to drive no matter how unmakable the shot is.

That last floater in the lane was a thing of beauty though.

ND is more effective with the ball on contested drives to the basket. They score or get fouled. UConn is more hit or miss and rarely get to the line to shoot free throws.

ND has shot 15 free throws vs 8 for UConn.

This 2nd half is beginning to look like the 2nd half in the FF. ND guards taking the ball in to the lane and either scoring or getting fouled.

The FF game and now this one they are totally out of control. Dolson gets hit in the head from behind and falls down and they call the foul on her?!!! Our guards are getting mugged out there and they call nothing. This is ridiculous.

Still a very physical struggle - again, the type of game where you need to be sure with the ball and play with patience.

If we could be a little better at this in the 2nd half, we can get to the line. That's what this kind of defense can give you. Like the WV game, it is not going to be a game where the offensive flow produces a lot of easy buckets. Some, definitely, but not a ton. Individual players have to be able to step up, be poised/patient, and make a few plays.
