Would I love to be sitting behind the MS bench.

Kinetic art, pure and simple. Howard Gardner, who pioneered the idea of multiple ways of thinking about intelligence, not just the IQ type of intelligence, revised his work when he saw Michael Jordan, adding kinetic intelligence. Well, today, UConn showed kinetic genius. What team has ever played better team basketball, ever, anywhere?

Whatda What..
tuned in late but the score is mind blowing.
Miss St can't possible at the arena yet
Correct. This is a first for the tourney, ESPN is broadcasting the UConn women's warm up session before the real game. Those are high school kids with Mississippi State uniforms scrimmaging against UConn right now.

fivethirtyeight.com predictor had the Excitement index score of this game at 0.1 in the second quarter and now at half it's o.o. The Stanford/ND game was at 7.7.

I beg to differ. I will take fundamentally solid basketball, crisp passing, tenacious defense, and high hoop IQ any day.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL GAME OF BASKETBALL!!!! This is just about the closest to a perfect half of basketball I've ever seen. Could be the most perfect half of basketball I've ever seen from a Connecticut basketball team. And I've seen some masterpieces.

I wonder whether this is Connecticut's best basketball team ever. They're playing at a level that I haven't seen since 2001. And Breanna is absolutely magnificent. Incredible what she's doing. Except for a couple of missed three's by Katie Lou, this is an incredible game of basketball. Never seen the likes before.

But maybe that's the bigger point: Lou is actually having a terrific game. Great defense (including 2 charges); great passing; great movement under the offensive basket. Her shot's not dropping, but she's being a great teammate.

To put this in perspective... some of the criticism of the AAC was due in part to the way UConn dominated their conference opponents, but MS was arguably the 2nd best team in the SEC and very few of UConn's conference games were this one sided. In other words, the AAC wasn't so much bad as UConn was just that great!
