Players on the floor seemed to have a mission to warm up Tuck's shooting engine. It worked. But group on the floor looked a little discombobbled for sure. Not to mention it screwed up my game prediction.
Nice win. Choppy at first, maybe because of the tough D by Cal but they couldn't keep it up. You knew that either we would figure it out or they would get tired. I think both happened.
Geno said games like this are tough... Holidays, coming off a big win, kids leaving after the game to go home... said they really struggled to get into a flow.
If you are ever in the "new" Madison Square Garden, don't forget to look up and take in the enormous and marvelous TV presentation of the game. It is as big as the Empire State Building (well, almost) and it must be ultra-ultra-ultra-HDTV because the image is unbelievable.
Not that it is very easy to miss if you are there.
watching the game now.....gotta love the DVR. I just think that the game was sloppy mainly because both teams could not get any shots to fall. There was a stat at the 11:40 mark that showed we were 2/10 shooting and Cal was 2//16 shooting. Just one of those games. Stewie has such a pretty shot.
