Perhaps in most venues, but totally disagree with respect to the XL. Easily 40% of the seats there make for a much less pleasurable experience than watching at home for me; or, for concerts, not attending at all.

For a game like this, absolutely. I don’t fault anyone for staying home vs. a cupcake but the fans need to show up for games like this.

I sat in the very last row when the Whale beat Quebec in the playoffs. It was awesome.

My oldest can and has some height; but, he's slow & is built like a stick. A small breeze would knock him on his rear. My younger one is almost 5 feet already at age 9 (I'm only 5 7", I think I need to ask my wife some questions about that); but because of that, has two left feet.

That is not a lot of tickets. We should be able to sell those. 10 years ago we were selling out Uconn-Umess games at the XL. The base can not have left us this quickly.

Broke even after purchasing the 15$ tix. But I honestly don’t mind the upper corner seats at XL when the place is packed

Man I’ve sat in those seats. You can’t see crap. Only way I knew if a basket was made was if the score board changed. It’ s fun to be there, but a limit to what people will pay to be in those seats. IMO, 10,000 is the max for a good basketball arena where you can see the game.

Not all of us live in CT. If I didn’t live in Princeton, NJ and if it wasn’t the holidays, I would go. If it was Saturday night, I would go. Not going to battle football traffic to get to Hartford by noon and not going to stay in a hotel. Doesn’t mean some of us are casual fans. It means we will be watching on TV because our degrees made us functional members of society that could be employed throughout the country which is a good thing...
