UConn v. USF @ J.O.C. (Fri. 5/10 @ *3p*, *Sat. 5/11 > Double Header Gm 1 @ 11a/Gm 2 @ 2:45*)

If the score stands, UConn will need at least two and very probably three wins at Tulane next weekend if they are to hope for an NCAA at large bid. Doing that is not going to be easy, even if they were playing well.

Then apparently he knows something we don't. Maybe he thinks the postseason is a lock. If you didn't want to use him then you don't, especially after your down 2 runs.

I would think Penders knows a lot more about this team than any of us posters know. Considering that this loss is likely to put UConn's RPI in the 30's, the Huskies are certainly no lock for the tournament, especially if they lose the series at Tulane next week.
 
Bottom 7th, two UConn batters get on after two out, but don't score. Offense has just turned into a pit of dispair. 3-1 USF.

We're at 30 right now.
 
This is what sucks about this year's team. We're still only down 2 with 6 outs to go, but with our bats, it would take a miracle.

Hopefully I just jinxed it, but I'm not holding my breath.

Hard to think the aac tournament is going to be a good experience with a team with no offense.

How can you say this? It’s eminently clear that @ATLDYKA has forgotten more about this team and how they ought to be coached than Penders and his horrible staff will ever know.
 
Bottom 8th, Christian Fedko doubles with 2 out, Ben Maycock pinch runs, so Fedko is out of the game. It might be late in the game but still don't like the pinch running move. Inning ends with no scoring by UConn.

Coaches everywhere love to pinch run, and I always think their is this big downside of taking out a better bat in the lineup when you need runs. It's not just Penders.

I think you should be running the team. Or if not you, then at least someone who knows what they’re doing. Based on your posts it would appear that we have the least competent staff in the nation.
