Two out single for USF off of Mayock ties the game at 1 in the top of the 7th.

Dandeneau still hasn't come in, so I have to wonder now about his availability.

Amazingly scoring 1 run for the first 6 innings of a game might not be enough to win this. We learned that lesson...2 hours ago in Game 1.

If you are going to use CJ anyways then why not start him the inning?

I have no problem with Mayock starting the inning, but the usual case is that Dandeneau would come in if a couple of hittlers get on. Have to think Penders didn't want to use him, maybe because of that tweak.

Piss poor pitching management today by Penders if CJ is indeed healthy enough to play.

My sense from the earlier comments was that he was available but they weren’t going to push it/him.

1 pitch, 1 out. K Fedko may have the worse uppercut of all. Someone needs to take this team and have everyone of them hit off a tee and learn to swing level again. This approach is pathetic.

If the score stands, UConn will need at least two and very probably three wins at Tulane next weekend if they are to hope for an NCAA at large bid. Doing that is not going to be easy, even if they were playing well.

Then apparently he knows something we don't. Maybe he thinks the postseason is a lock. If you didn't want to use him then you don't, especially after your down 2 runs.

Yup. Total shitshow. Where is that random poster who told me to "stop it" about UCONN not getting a bid with a subpar final 2 weekends?

I would think Penders knows a lot more about this team than any of us posters know. Considering that this loss is likely to put UConn's RPI in the 30's, the Huskies are certainly no lock for the tournament, especially if they lose the series at Tulane next week.
