Top 9th, Colby Dunlop takes the mound to start the inning. Makes me think either Jimmy Wang or Joe Simeone gets the start in the second game.

Wang -> Simeone -> CJ -> Wallace

Gotta hope there is some Senior Day mojo w/ two seniors coming up in the B9.

Amazing how quickly Karl Johnson falls out of favor. Scoreless 9th for Dunlop. UConn has the top of the order starting with Toppa in the bottom of the 9th.

Intentional walk to Pat Winkel loads the bases, it's up to Kyler Fedko.

Don’t disagree but damned if you do - damned if you don’t.
Agree, just asking a lot to have to get another hit. We are almost to the point where we have to try and steal runs on the bases being over aggressive. I do hate to say it because I know that will lead to boneheaded outs, but man we are struggling to generate offense.

This rubber game is a MUST win. Hasn't been a more important game all season.
Maybe they can start every inning with the mentality that there are 2 outs and they are down to their last out.

No wonder why we can't score. Every guy upper cutting hitting fly balls directly into a stiff breeze. Not a recipe for success.

Bottom 1st, a two out single by Woodworth leads to nothing for UConn. No score.

Top 2nd, a scoreless inning for Wang. Phillips with another nice defensive play at 3B. No score.

Those 2 out singles...I wonder how much of our struggles are due to natural variance?
