Nice win.

Cooke does not need to be put in the rotation. Idk why Quigley hasn’t been the Fri night guy all year. Cooke’s makeup is late innings or no expectations…his success has been counted on for 3 years while only benefiting for 1. They need him, I just don’t think it’s in the rotation.

What a performance by Dalena. Penders mentioned he thought Dalena could be his cleanup hitter about a month ago when his struggles were hurting the team. He might have that option now.

Van Emon has been having a hard time with his starts after having a few solid appearances. Cooke threw over 100 pitches in the game yesterday, that is pretty rare for someone out of the bullpen. He seems to have straightened himself out from how poorly he was doing earlier in the season, so it would not surprised me to see him back in the weekend starting rotation soon. Of course, we'll see what happens.

Good comeback by Coe that inning. 2nd and 3rd with one down and he gets two K’s to get out of it.

Top 2nd, Coe gives up a 1 out solo homer, 1-0 St. John's. Coe with 2 strikeouts this inning.

Coe not a K guy this year, but already with 4 so far.
