Cooke does not need to be put in the rotation. Idk why Quigley hasn’t been the Fri night guy all year. Cooke’s makeup is late innings or no expectations…his success has been counted on for 3 years while only benefiting for 1. They need him, I just don’t think it’s in the rotation.

Van Emon has been having a hard time with his starts after having a few solid appearances. Cooke threw over 100 pitches in the game yesterday, that is pretty rare for someone out of the bullpen. He seems to have straightened himself out from how poorly he was doing earlier in the season, so it would not surprised me to see him back in the weekend starting rotation soon. Of course, we'll see what happens.

I think I confused the hockey east deal with big East baseball. I always expect them to be on ESPN plus. Somehow I am surprised by this every year after basketball wraps up and I turned my attention to baseball.
