Dirty board on Schwartz by their #8. He was facing the boards for several seconds (Schwartz didn't turn into the hit at the last second) and was driven hard. A hit like that would've definitely warranted a fine or suspension in the NHL. I was surprised #8 wasn't given a game misconduct.

Taking the entire family to the game on Sunday in Bridgeport. Got tickets in the comer near the ice. The boys should love the banging and stuff just like I did when my folks had season tickets to the Whalers.

PS - Be careful if you buy the tickets on Ticketmaster, I failed to scroll ALL the way down to the very bottom of the webpage after the 'purchase button' and got stuck with the stupid insurance coverage for an extra $27.

Compton's a really nice facility, and should be the primary blueprint for what UConn should build in a new rink, minus the absurd five-row balcony with awful sightlines.
