UConn v. Michigan State @ Fluor Field in Greenville S.C. (Fri. 3/15 @ 5p, Sat. 3/16 Dbl Header @ 1p & 5p and Sun. 3/17 @ 11a)

RBI single by Toppa makes it 9-6 UConn! 2 outs.

MSU is extending one of their few solid bullpen arms. We are not the only team that will be strained this weekend. Remember...it is college baseball :).

Think CJ is done?

That's a good question. Given the doubleheader tomorrow, I'd like to save Wallace for as long as possible in this game. If UConn gets another run or two, maybe someone like Gardner, Wurster, or Johnson can come in before Wallace.

Fedko stranded at 3rd. Still no clean innings for either team.

9-6...would love to see Wurster here.

Bottom 8th, Dandeneau stays in. He's getting to the point where he might be done for the rest of the series.

Hopefully he can give us multiple innings vs. Virginia next Tuesday.

The game is Wednesday. I would think he will be available by then. I doubt he will go a long multiple inning stint with Houston series coming up on Friday.

Damn...do we risk Gardner with a 4 run lead?

Two lasers hit right to Spartans ends the rally. 10-6 UConn going to the 9th.

No surprise, Wallace to stays in to pitch the 9th. Woodworth moves to 2B, Chiovitti in CF, Nucerino in RF.

19 pitches for Wallace in his 1 1/3 innings...he will be available at least one more time this series.

This was probably the easiest game in this series and we played good offense and defense. Split tomorrow and take Sunday!
