That was a bad foul by Tiff, Stef was in the lane to possibly draw a charge
 
OK now this is really going to be a test without Tiff. People are gonna have to step up.

I think the problem was, Nan, that the officials were so slow to call that foul. The foul should have been called immediately on knocking down our player.

Tiff now fouls out.
 
Can someone...anyone...please explain how with this level of physicality...L'Ville have only 6team fouls with only 4 min. to play???

What is Geno doing? Up and pacing or sitting and pulling his fingers through his hair???

I've also been known to do both during a game.

Nice boxout by KML on Hammond - draws the foul on the long garbage 3 attempt by UL.

Finally, an over the back on Louisville. KML will shoot FTs after the time out.

Problem is we are getting continual charge fouls in the lane.
 
I know Tiff has playd very good for us this year.

But she and Kelly absolutely killed this team tonight by picking up 4 fouls so early in that 2nd half. They failed to adjust their D to the moron refs. You have to adjust. And the coaches have to sit them a bit when they get 3.

Picking up those 4 fouls totally took away BOTH of their offensive games and put this game in serious jeopardy. She cannot be doing that as a senior. I know the refs have been inconsistent and awful. But she needed to adjust much sooner.
 
We are playing timid. We're going to win because Louisville just isn't very good, but if we want to get to Denver and do something when we get there, we can't tighten up like this when the going gets tough. That's where you miss a superstar player.
 
Who are the other refs besides Dee "The Great Equalizer" Kantner ?

i know the game has been beyond ugly, but this team could be like Maryland and lose to unranked Va Tech. as bad as it's been, it's not that bad.
 
NOW watch the refs "even up"the fouls, but it will only be the NUMBER of fouls..
 
clock is starting to become our friend ............ 3:30 left. KML at the line with 8 pt lead.
 
There are some very good things happening for us on the court. We are still moving very well without the ball. We are getting very good looks at the hoop even if we are cold.

Tiff proably more nervous on the bench than she's ever been on the floor !!!!
 
Shimmel has never seen a shot she doesn't like. Dhe has 17 points on 19 shots.
