I was at that FSU game. It was more exciting since it was a back and forth affair with CWS on the line. But I like this result much better. Greg Shaw did a great job.

With that kind of performance by Shaw I would hope it puts him in consideration as a weekend starter.

The three guys they are counting on have had one outing each. I wouldn’t be looking at a change yet. It’s not as if we don’t need a closer and bullpen arms generally as well.

My wife and I have season tickets for the Norwich Sea Unicorns of the Futures League, a summer college league, and we saw Jackson Marshall in a number games against Norwich last summer. From what I saw last summer, I was quite impressed with what I saw of Marshall, he did very well, so I was quite pleased that he was coming to UConn because of that.
