My wife and I have season tickets for the Norwich Sea Unicorns of the Futures League, a summer college league, and we saw Jackson Marshall in a number games against Norwich last summer. From what I saw last summer, I was quite impressed with what I saw of Marshall, he did very well, so I was quite pleased that he was coming to UConn because of that.
 
Bottom 1st, West gives up a 1 out single and the runner advances to 2B due to a throwing error by the left fielder Taylor. West issues a 2 out walk. 2 runners are left on base in a scoreless inning. 1-0 UConn.
 
Top 2nd, Wachter leads off with a single. Wachter gets picked off at 1B for the 1st out. With 2 out Detwiler gets on base on an error at 1B. The UConn offense has a scoreless inning. 1-0 UConn.

Top 3rd, lead off batter Rispoli gets to 1B due to a 3B error, and Menzel gets to 1B due to a catcher error. Rispoli moves to 3B on a fly out for the 1st out, and Menzel steals 2B. Dalena gets an RBI on a sac fly for the 2nd out. 2-0 UConn.

Marshall smoked his ball on a line to left. The Arizona outfielder made a nice play for that last out

I didn't see the tag on the arm, but the camera angle couldn't have been worse. Somehow the idiot announcer saw the tag. He's annoyed me a few times.

I would not be surprised if West comes out of the game soon with all the pitches he has thrown.
 
Arizona has the worst infield defense I have seen in years, and that includes the likes of UMBC. They’re a horror show.
