UConn v. #23/#24 USF @ J.O.C - Friday 5/11 (Doubleheader) @ 11a & Saturday 5/12 @ 11a

Walks are a killer, because it generally turns into a stolen base and then becomes like giving up a double.

.-.
Poulin gets the double play ball to get out of the bases loaded in the 9th. Poulin has come a long way in a hurry.

Their best bullpen arm has gone deep. Almost guarantees we don't see him again this series.

.-.
Beginning to think that Poulin might have become too good to use as a middle of the week starter. Need to use him in the weekend conference games.

I've heard P.J. is finally trusting his stuff, leading to his meteoric rise to one of the best options out of the bullpen.

.-.
Bases loaded no one out for UConn in the 10th. Need to win it now.

Woot woot!!!

TIME TO GET GREEDY...GO ON OUR OWN 111 GAME STREAK...GO HUSKIES!

Time to get greedy, and win a second game over USF. That is a big thing right there in terms of the RPI and the NCAA tourney. Best thing about the previous game is that UConn didn't have to use John Russell, so he is certainly still available to close out one of the next two games.

Let's win the series today. Mcclanahan throws heat so quick bats will be needed in game two
