Bottom 4th, Pudvar gives up a leadoff single, the runner steals 2B with 1 out. A 1 out single drives in a run. 6-1 UConn.

After another single, Pudvar leaves 2 runners on base. 6-1 UConn. Pudvar got 3 strikeouts this inning, he has 5 strikeouts so far in this game.

Pudvar has thrown 71 pitches so far in this game. Figure he will be around for another inning or 2. We'll see.

Chris Jones says that Pudvar has a 85 pitch count limit, he has thrown 80 pitches so far in the game, so Chris Jones is thinking this was his last inning in the game.

You would think Pudvar will continue in the weekend starting rotation the way he is going.

Top 6th, with 2 outs the UConn offense loads the bases with runners reaching base due to 2 errors and a walk. The runners are left on base. 6-1 UConn.

Van Emon takes the mound to start the bottom of the 6th inning.
 
How many reviews do they get? He wasn’t even looking at him when he tagged him and wants a review?

Watching this team for the first time last night. This team has a lot of depth in the offense. Sphur and Delena haven't gotten going yet and the team is still putting up good offensive numbers which could be even better. Getting guys on base just need to get them in. If the pitching comes around, limits the walks and gives us what we believe they can, this team should be very dangerous come May.

I posted a message earlier in the season about Shpur should be moved out of the leadoff spot until he gets his offense going. So far this season Shpur has an on base percentage of .256. UConn has a number of players who have on base percentages well over .300, so in my mind there are a bunch of guys who could take over the leadoff spot for now.
