Per UNCG website games look like broadcast on espn+. 10-10 team with some good wins and some ugly losses. Great opportunity to finish spring break trip on positive note.

Top 1st, Rispoli gets a leadoff walk. but he is caught trying to steal 2B for the 1st out. The UConn offense leaves a runner on base for a scoreless inning. No score.
 
Chris Jones on his broadcast said that Daniels will probably be available to play in the game next Tuesday.
 
Hoping this game moves along so I can watch the men's basketball NCAA tournament game when it starts around 9:30. Too bad that I won't be able to follow closely the men's hockey game tonight with this game on.
 
Bottom 1st, Pudvar gives up a leadoff solo homer, 1-0 UNCG.

Top 2nd, the UConn offense goes down in order with 2 strikeouts, they now have 4 strikeouts so far in this game. 1-0 UNCG.

Of course, I expect my wife will be watching the hockey game when it starts.

Funny thing, when I first met my future wife while we were students at UConn, she was a huge fan of the New York Yankees (the same for me) and the Hartford Whalers. She turned me into a big Whaler fan while they were in Hartford.

Bottom 3rd, Pudvar gives up a leadoff infield singe followed by a walk. Pudvar ends up having a scoreless inning leaving runners on the corners. Game tied at 1. Pudvar has thrown 47 pitches so far.

Top 5th, Belisario leads off with a single, his 2nd hit of the game, Rispoli follows with a walk. A sac bunt for the 1st out by Root moves both runners into scoring position. The runners are stranded. 2-1 UConn.
 
I hate the small ball. Root is your hottest hitter 6 hits in last 7 at bats. Both Minack and McAurther have been struggling tonight. 6th inning or later maybe.

Have to suspect that Pudvar is going to be staying in the weekend starting rotation if he keeps this stuff up.
