Oliver Pudvar, LHP, Connecticut​

Oliver Pudvar has steadily improved this season after failing to complete four innings in his first three appearances. The lefty threw five innings of one-run ball with five strikeouts against Miami on March 7, six innings of one-run ball with eight strikeouts agaisnt Campbell on March 14 and then seven innings of one-run ball with a career-best 10 strikeouts on Friday against UNC Greensboro.

Pudvar entered Friday’s start with a 22% overall miss rate but has seen that number climb slowly recently, a trend that continued against UNC Greensboro.

Final line: 7.0 IP, 6 H, 1 R/ER, 3 BB, 10 K
