Are we trying to avoid Tulane's bullpen? We had this guy on a high pitch count after the first few innings, now it seems everyone is swinging first pitch and we are letting him off the hook.
On the other hand Tulane who was swinging early in the first few innings are now more patient and Foele has just as many pitches as their pitcher and they are now getting to him.
The other part of the problem is that the UConn offense just doesn't get that many people on base. Only 3 regulars have on base percentages over .350. That matters a lot.
