UConn @ Tulane (Thurs. 5/16 @ 7:30p ET, Fri. 5/17 @ 7:30p ET & Sat. 5/18 @ 2p ET)

Nucerino comes out of the game with an injury, Chiovitti takes his place in RF.

Screw up between Toppa and Prato on a fly ball allows two more Tulane runs. 4-1 Green Wave. Sounds like Toppa with the misplay there.

4th Inning finally over with a 4-1 Tulane lead. UConn offense needs to go to work.

If Lucas gets himself sorted out, he may be the shortstop next season if Prato goes pro. Still, got to hope someone is able to take over at 3B next season in place of Moriarty.
Let’s not forget about Andy Hague, who is RS this year. From what I’ve heard, had he been healthy he would have been given a shot at 3B this season.

Bottom 5th, Feole strands two runners for a shutdown inning. Tied at 4. Feole at 92 pitches.

Boy this offense has had me baffled all season
I understand you get this from young guys but the season is near an end and they aren't that young anymore

Bottom 6th, Feole has given up his first two walks of the game in this inning. 1 out, but I have to think Feole is tiring.

Honestly we are not that young either...and talent is there. There are probably a variety of reasons why we cannot score.

You’re counting on quality hitting by the Frosh Kyler Fedko & Pat Winkel. The plateau or deflation by Moriarty then Chris Winkel is disappointing. Langer + Brodnansky + Chiovitti didn’t provide much; whereas past years ... we really have brought in top hitting from California or else wise.

Clutch hitting really never arrived.
