I think Pryce Yates is a good example. He made his choice..whatever. Especially with how it all went down.

Obviously was not crazy with how Yates’ time here ended, but this would be a bummer if it is the last we hear of a pretty good player. Only played in one game this year, would not be surprised if he got another year with how eligibility works nowadays.

his performance potential outweighs our feelings. and we can't be that picky. we need studs and if he gets one last year we know it's a one-and-done, no portal uncertainty or awkward conversations at the end of the year - he just leaves. I say go for him IF he's healthy - i don't have time for feelings.

HC Jim Mora and Pryce Yates spent 3 years together so I am sure they know whether returning to the Huskies is an option. The concussions are also a serious issue. If the season plays out like we hope then UConn should have great options in the portal. And if Yates is an option, then by all means yes!!

He would have been a great part of the upfront puzzle this year.. I’d never bring a turncoat back into the locker room out of sheer respect for the guys who have battled and carried on without him. That said, I do hope him well with his medical situation.

I saw people talking about him having recurring concussion issues that kept him out. But didn't someone post a video on here just before the season started talking about him tearing a meniscus while training? Could be the physical adversity Diaco was talking about
