It’s some kind of custom card someone made themselves I think and got autographed. Got it for a couple bucks on eBay a few years back before she blew up. There were a few other ones like this, and actually saw one resold for $200 a few months after I bought it lol.
 
News of the panini UConn set is pretty wild, but I’m thinking those won’t really have the same value as any other panini card would, right?

Maybe some of the non-UConn fan card sharks stay away so it’s a bit more possible to just land a Paige auto

I think Bueckers and Strong's rarer cards/autographs will still pretty sought after even by non-UConn fans. The womens' cards are definitely gonna be the driver for this set....Liam isn't even in this set. Otherwise, a very nice set for even casual UConn fans to get into (unless the price is stupid).

$100 a box. Box contains 6 packs of 6 cards.

You can pre order on steelcitycollectibles.com who is reputable card wholesaler
 
Camo prizm? Honestly kind of surprised they didn’t do something like a UConn logo prizm or something that would be instantly juicy to any UConn fan considering buying this.

Definitely going to go for one, the question is how many more…

Definitely you are chasing Paige and Strong cards from the value aspect. But for any true UConn fan, these should be a fun rip regardless. 2 autographs per box for $100 is actually a really good deal these days. No Liam sorta sucks though.

Absolutely, I was already looking at Clingan cards (castle so crazy expensive) in the recent releases, so just going to stop that for now. If you buy a few and get valuable autos to fund the purchase, great! If your only hits end up being Jayden Ross and Ashlynn Shade… sure you’ve got UConn cards but I’m guessing you’ll feel ripped

The "big head" Castle card I posted in this thread earlier sold for nearly $2k last night. :eek:

Here's the checklist for the set. I have to say this is the 1st set I've seen where you can get a trading card of even the walk-ons. LOL Souleymane Diaby, you have a card!!
 
Pulled a Cooper Flagg RC from Bowman U Now - sent to BGS for grading - it's in the mail coming back as a "10" so gonna keep that in the closet for 5 years and see how he does in the NBA.

Yeah, I picked up a couple hobby boxes but didn't get too much. A Cooper Flagg x-fractor was probably the best "hit" out of the boxes. Did pick up a couple Solo autos from eBay for fairly cheap for my PC. And got a couple of Sarah Strong autos as "investments". :p

I went down the rabbit hole of box breaks on that set, wanted to get an auto of Alex/Liam/Solo each. Liam kept giving me grief, I did end up with a very very cool Alex auto /25 where he wrote “Back to Back champs!” On it. I may have to eBay that one to recoup all the $ dropped…
