Halftime observations for me are as follows:
- ESPN3 sucks - I keep getting paused, rewound back and then fast forwarded without me pressing anything - sound cuts in and out and video goes from sharp to blurry as hell for no reason (plenty of broadband here as I am watching from work)
- Our OL is still offensively challenged
- Whitmer looks a lot like he did last year - makes some good plays and then wipes it out with one really dumb one
- Offensive play calling started out pretty good in my opinion but was really poor in the second quarter, especially at the end of the half
- Defensively Obi made a nice INT but has also taken some bad angles to get beaten by the Towson RB - middle of the line looks OK but the LB's aren't controlling the cutbacks
- KO return has been pathetic
- Only bright spot has been at WR with Davis and Phillips

Towson gets the ball to start the half too.

We will be in real trouble if they get another TD.

Stop.

He is the head coach! Look. At. Where. We. Are.

I am looking at where we are, and the coaching is/has been terrible. What are you trying to say? That because this is CT we shouldn't expect our team to improve?

Why is no one going after TJ Weist...when things were hopefuly it was "In TJ we trust" and now that its bad its all of the sudden PP's fault?

You people are absolutely clinically insane

Because the same two grumpy old guys are standing next to each other on the sideline.

Look how good Ambrose is without Edsall screwing with everything on him.

Some defensive players are going to have to take it upon themselves to deviate from the scheme and light somebody up. They look like they've been coached into passive zones.

So, a couple of days ago, Jacobs had a column in the Courant and he talked about the words of wisdom Bo passed on to Warde in terms of being an AD.

"Trust your eyes" Bo said.

Hopefully Warde wants to gouge his eyes after this performance.

The whole team has been lifeless outside of Davis and the one run by McCombs.

I honestly never thought I'd see some of the worst tendencies from last year resurface at crucial times. That's the most disappointing thing.

And it's happening against TOWSON.

Nice playing dumb there sweet pead.

Not only do I expect this team to improve, I find the current play unacceptable. What are YOU trying to say?

You just posted that you would hold off calling for PP's head if we got rid of DeLeone? You think THAT will solve everything? DeLeone Sucks. Pasqualoni sucks. Both should be gone. Both. Your saying if they get rid of DeLeone you'd keep P? That makes NO sense.

OK I am going rational, fold the program now and sell the new scoreboard to re-tile the ceiling in Gampel so the Big East will take us back. Problem solved.

DTs playing well. LBs are invisible. Is Smallwood plainf tonight? When our DBs have to make all the tackles, we're in for a long night! What's Michigan gonna do to us?

Its just more of the same, clock management awful, O-line awful - couple of times had short yardage and can't get a push. D-line not very impressive. We surely out weigh them on both sides of the ball yet we are not getting any push. Need to get bigger back in there on the short yardage situations. Unfortunately just seeing too much of the same nonsense as last year.

Gotcha, sweet pea are the words I believe you were looking for. I guess I should elaborate for you. I would refrain for a little while on calling for PP's head if they tossed out Deleone. I believe that Deleone is where 90% of our problems are coming from. If it turned out that we still sucked afterward, I would be first in line calling for PP's head. Hope that clears it up for you.

It may only be the first half of the year, but I've seen enough. The whole coaching staff needs to get canned, and the sooner the better. We are about to hit bottom, and it's gonna hurt.

So, how many D1 schools fired their head coach mid-season last year? Just curious.

Yeah it clears up your not very smart.

If Pasqualoni kept a guy around that was responsible for 90% of the problems for 3 years, HE is responsible. It would be a dereliction of duty.

And Warde has made it clear that he will not get rid of PP until after the season is over. We had an abysmal offense last year, now we have an abysmal o-line, what is the common thread? Deleone. I'm not a fan of PP, but I'll take what I can get, if it involves getting rid of one of the wonder twins
