UConn hasn't played anyone notable yet, and I dare say that's probably a good thing because frankly the team has not looked ready to take on top 10 teams. I don't see anything worth celebrating in sneaking through the backdoor into a paper #1 ranking.

UConn is the true #1! Hopefully Stanford loses too.
Especially Oregon. I thought they were the one team that was on a higher level than any other team. UConn has not beaten a top 25 team yet but, they have not played a top 25 team. If Makurat is healthy, UConn will surprise some people outside of the Boneyard. The big thing to me is that Oregon and Baylor are not as good as everyone thought.

Exactly what I posted in another "who is gonna be #1?" thread Saturday night after the Oregon or Baylor loss...but that is what we need to do here on the BY: be Keyboard Coaches, Keyboard Doctors, Keyboard Pollsters, etc. Love it!Why are we talking about this on December 1st?
On any given night any of these teams could win or lose. That’s parity. UConn is the only untested team of the six. Not to put too much pressure on her, Ania is the key and I believe Ania will unlock the door. Sure, Megan will score, so will CW; CD will run offense, Liv will block shots, but Ania will deliver the dish at the right moment, deliver consistent defense, and, yes, sink the three. She is young, away from home, a stranger in a strange land, but time cures that. He's my attempt at figuring this out -
1. Stanford
2. Louisville
3. UConn
4. South Carolina
5. Oregon
6. Baylor
I don't see any ranked team going undefeated this season.
