Pat Gallagher, UConn - Gallagher went 7.0 innings allowing no runs to score as the Huskies defeated St. John’s 6-0 on the road. Gallagher allowed just two hits and walked one while striking out eight in 110 pitches off the mound.
Chris Winkel, UConn - Winkel batted .500 in a 3-1 weekend series win for UConn over St. John’s. Winkel went 7-for-14 with four runs scored, three RBI, a double and a home run for a .786 slugging percentage. <-
