Feole I see with another less than stellar performance and command always seems to get him in trouble.

Feole did struggle, but he also gave up only 1 run in the first 5 innings. Despite his struggling, he did his job.

I would have gone Wurster right away.

SHSU can really hit, you have to pitch carefully to them, so I thought Feole was fine.

Wurster hits a batter with the bases loaded. 5-4 UConn, no out.

So it appears our pitchers no longer know how to throw strikes.

I may barf if that camera doesn’t stop shaking.

I was surprised as well that Wurster didn't come in when Johnson did.

Wurster throws away a pick off, another run scores. Wurster hasn't had a bad outing in a long, long time. 6-5 Bearkats.

UConn has been winning games on the strength of its relief pitching. That strength has failed tonight. Hopefully it is a one night thing.

Chris Jones thinks the 7 runs in the 6th inning is the most given up by UConn in an inning this season.

The bullpen was bound to have a night/day like that - they have been lights out. Let's see who picks them up.
