Ajou wasn't eligible in 99
He was in the program, but wasn't technically on the 1999 team. As a result, he's not on the 1999 team roster. Just like Purvis isn't considered part of the 2014 championship team. You sure Ajou wasn't on the team?
Mission accomplished I'd say. And now you get to host the next inane round to boot! (you know, if you want to) I'm sure you'll be pulling out all the stops! Deepster is waiting with bated breath.May I just go on record that I joined this inane game simply to finish ahead of you. I'm hoping I finish second to last to accomplish that but won't get greedy and do what it takes.
Also apparently Boatshow has already locked up that spot.
The points have been tallied, and we have a champion!
The winner of UConn (Reverse) Sheep Trivia Round 3 is....

Congrats to August_West, and thanks to everyone for participating.
If you don't continue this I hope someone does, this is a really fun game for the people who don't have to put it togetherOnce I get the belt around my waist ; stay tuned for the big announcement tomorrow concerning the future of the sheep game. It is Yuge.

Thanks jfuchs, you did a fantastic Job. Can I request a championship belt instead of the trophy?

Really odd how this game swings on the quality/difficulty of questions.
Some Sheep questions had a 24-29 pt swing if you didn't get them right meaning the obvious answer was pretty easy.
Some Reverse Sheep questions had only a 1 or 2 pt gain if you came up with something correct and super obscure.
Easy to dig yourself into a 30 pt hole....then hard to dig your way out of it. Other games, it seems as though the Reverse Sheep round had more impact.
Everyone deserves some recognition.
That's because they werent big asses Just nice guys who won a game. No gloating, no self promotion, they won with dignity.Hey, congrats on the huge win. You now join a heralded list of the other Sheep champions....whoever they were.
Funny. My first thought when reading all of the different responses was "Now we know where everyone went to college"I'm calling some big time shenanigans in googling these answers.

Conversely, im a special type of ass.i don't know the definition of dignity. I'm going to milk this for all its worth. No one will ever forget. It will be written into the annals of the yard and over time the handle " August west" and the term " champion " will become interchangeable.
Also I will be touring the state with my belt this week. Come check it out. You can take a pic with it. I'll waive the 5 buck fee for you.
It's not a Dr Dos bronze clustered oak leaf with gold filigree though.
It has been a whirlwind week since bringing the Title home to the CT shoreline. I have appreciated the support of the legions of sheep out there in incredible numbers across the state. After a crazy couple of days, I finally got time to sit down with my family. We have discussed the ramifications and responsibilities of wearing this 10 lbs of gold. It is with slight tinge of sadness that I feel compelled to announce my retirement from the sport that has given me so much. Not many people get to go out at the top of their profession, and I am blessed to be able to be counted among the select few that do. I would like to thank jfuchs and the other previous runners of the league, you did fine work and I don't want to tarnish your (or my) legacy by trying to participate past my prime. As for what this means for the future games of reverse sheep, please stay tuned as licensing negotiations are underway. I understand that people would like the game to continue, and being a man of the people I am not one to deny them of their wish. It may be a new (and possibly diluted) title at stake since Im retiring undefeated, but the game must go on.
Your Champion in perpetuity,
August_West
Cute post.
Aren't you supposed to run the next round?
