Point of order. No way jfuchs91 won. He was disqualified along with 11 others for correctly answering a question about women's bball. You might as well have asked a question about candlepin bowling. Throwing a WBB question in there and then doubling its value is like having a BBQ contest and then declaring the winner based off of the style of serving dish.

The following people were disqualified by correctly answering that question: Matrim55, Tenspro2002, RayIsTheGoat, Cassius Klaiber, navery12, jfuchs91, CTBasketball, mauconnfan, KOisKing, bcisco, david, breezy.

what do you guys want as the next topic for the game? I feel as though we can't do UCONN trivia again unless it has drastically different questions.
 
General state of Connecticut topics could work (ie, name a casino, pizza restaurant, recent governor, etc)

I think if we did this then people would lose because it would be a lot of work for a lot of people.

I am willing to do this, but it might next week before I can get it up and running. If thats ok?

That sounds good to me, it is something of a commitment, so a couple times a month if there's enough interest would probably be a good idea. If you want you could pm me your answers before everyone else gives you there's so that you can play too.

That would work, you could also set it up on a site like google forms that will at least put all of the answers in one place.

In the one I used to participate in, anyone who played had to send the game host a sample question. I would always try to think of Family Feud when coming up with questions.
 
I would definitely do this again, it was a lot of fun. Even if most of my answers ended up being terrible

I will start prepping after work today and will over the weekend. Hope to have one up by Monday or Wednesday at the latest.

Thanks @Mano, seemed like it took a lot of work to put this together.
Maybe for next time there could be less Google-able questions just to prevent cheating. Not sure exactly how this could be done.

So, let's clear this up. I googled just about every question. I didn't think this was a trivia contest. I looked at it as a strategy contest to guess which answer would be the most or least offered.

I thought it was purely from a "what do you know" basis and you could not research. Wouln't that kind of make it easy, sort of like Papi on steroids? :eek::oops:

I didn't realize there were people googling this stuff. How am I supposed to know who the last team to beat the women's team was? My memory doesn't go that far back.

I demand a recount. This is like the hanging chad fiasco all over again.
 
I think even if you did look up answers, which I did for a couple of questions. It's all about making the right choice . So even with looking up things didn't guarantee you win.

Agree but certainly an advantage. I could care less it's fun either way, almost ignored the OT and never jumped in. Glad I did.
