UConn Ranked #25 in AP Poll, First Time Since October 2016

Outwardly, I say it is deserved, but we have to keep working.

But inside, I have to admit there is a little of this...

I forgot how hard it was to make these things. USC, who looks like the best team in the pac-12, doesn’t even crack the top 30 votes.

Almost half of the voters don't even have us ranked. What are those people smoking?
Of this group, all of them are local beat writers except for Dick Vitale (who has a track record of being irresponsibly biased and delusional).

We have impressive rankings from the national guys that matter, such as Rothstein (#18), Jeff Borzello (#20), and Seth Davis (#16).

4 loss Illinois at #14 is absolutely insane. They've been the most overrated team I've seen this season (well maybe other than fellow B1Ger Michigan State...)

That said, it's been a while since my both the teams I follow have been ranked together and I like to see it.

Feels good but really means very little. There is only one poll that means anything and 4 times we have ended the season on top. Hope they come out tonight with something to prove.

What a joke, 25th?? If we make a free throw we would be undefeated and a top 10 team. We should be 15-17th.
To me the issue is games played. Many teams have played 12 at least 12 games (8 teams). We’ve played 7. For me that makes it hard to rank us because of the smaller sample size (so far). To everyone’s point, keep winning and the test takes care of itself.
