Just read some articles on him from the EYBL this past weekend where he was the leading scorer in the first session averaging 28.5 ppg. 6-5 combo guard that is powerfully built and can do it all. Shot the three ball really well (10-20 on the weekend) off catches and off the bounce. Converted 6 and ones in one game (shows he can finish with contact). Hit almost all his free throws (36-39 on the weekend). Has a very good handle and is athletic with speed. What's not to like?!

Ollie is certainly going after bigger guards.

Damn in the video he didn't miss a shot. Seriously though he appears to be a gem, the kind of stone UConn knows how to polish.

Not a knock on these kids at all but I'm starting to think whoever these editors are at City League Hoops could cut a two minute mixtape of me playing at the local Y that would snag me an offer from BC, probably Providence too.

Why settle so low? ;)

Why are you aiming so LOW?????

I prefer Jalen Adams way more.

I love our recruiting momentum right now. But can somebody who knows the recruiting game help me out a little.

When does it become too much to keep offering so many kids? Is it normal to offer one or two new guys everyday? They're all top talent so its great, but have we always done this? I know they're not all the same clas, but we have 2 2015 guard commits and have offers to at least 5 or 6 others. I guess maybe that's not so many.

BUT

Do prince and turtle wonder why we are offering so many other guards? And what about Adams? Obviously it's great to offer so many top kids. But unless they are also really interested, couldn't it backfire a little and offend some kids that really are interested in coming here.

All these guys are going to play the 1,2 AND 3. I think Ollie's going for that interchangeability. If they can D up some bigger threes, then the versatility is going to kill teams.

That said, I'm hoping for at least one small, quick, waterbug type guard.

For the most part, the types of guys UCONN recruits want to play with other good players (as opposed to guys who require being featured). They are also promised only one thing: you will have to earn your minutes. They know the score coming in.

Ollie clearly wants a perimeter heavy team. I would like at least one rim protector and presence in the center though.

Allonzo has worked out with a guy who is Kevin durant's trainer, and interestingly enough is training napier before the draft. Adam Harrington.

Just so many top players that Ollie has us involved with. So many in fact I can't come up with a wish list because there are many with huge talent who have UConn offers. Stone/Newman is really appealing and Adams/Govan would also be great. And now this kid Trier looks like the real deal. I don't ever recall a list of potential UConn recruits this long and this talented.

So what positions are we going for? 1 more versatile guard and 2 in the front court?

I believe Adam Harrington is a former Lapchick award winner in Western Mass who went to NC State and transferred to Auburn?

Probably true. This guy has offers from Alabama, BC and PeeCee.

Meth kills.
