Quick and dirty Hockey East ref guide:
Tim Benedetto = Tim Higgins, loves to hear his own whistle
John Gravallese = Jim Burr, well-regarded but has moments of extreme idiocy
Jeff Bunyon = Ted Valentine, hates certain coaches
The Hansens = John Cal, absolutely the worst refs in the league
Jack Millea & Kevin Keenan = Can't think of bball equivalent, both are just completely out to lunch.

Nichols played great in the 2nd. Feels like Uconn is having on after taking it them in the first. This is fun
 
1 - 0 UConn after second period. Rob Nichols solid play and a gritty counterattack. BC holding the shot advantage but still frustrated by the Huskies. Finally matched up the video with WHUS audio as Brass Bonanza gets fired up in advance of period 3. Great show for the fans. Go Huskies!
 
Score update, please. Can't get WHUS overseas, and allowed work to interfere with watching part of 3rd period. Thanks

Had to listen to BC audio but still was fun. Where'd you guys get video?
 
Wow what a win. Impressive netminding display AGAIN by Nichols, PP goal by the former eagle and a signature win. We even had some nice opportunities in the 3rd. We still have a way to go on the offensive side of things but incredible, gutty effort. Kudos to the fans - they looked great, arena was packed and everyone looked to be really into the game.

Sounded like the building was getting a little fired up as the third period went on. Not many goals but the effort really appreciated. Smart hockey fans. Had to work but glad to catch most of it.

I forgave Leetch years ago for the transgression of playing for BC. Afterall, he did help the Rangers win the Stanley Cup (saw it when he brought it to town), played for Team USA, and also won a state title in baseball for my home town in '84 on a team that also included a guy named Brad Ausmus (in '83, out hockey team lost the state final to an Enfield team led by Craig Janney).

I love the Connecticut Huskies. What a great night!

plus i witnessed a drunk idiot BC fan punching cars on his walk down Trumbull street screaming "UConn, suck my balls" lol. Drunk dope.
