UConn MHOC 2024-25

I need someone to explain to me how the conference schedule makers saw it appropriate that one team (Northeastern in this case) will have played five more conference games than three other conference members at this point of the season.

My major concern is that it seems we are a few games played ahead of basically all of the conference until the home stretch every year, but at the moment Northeastern's situation (in comparison to PC, Lowell and NH) is ridiculous.

Not sure why Northeastern's situation is more ridiculous than ours, given we have played one more conference game than they have. It could be to our advantage as it gives us time to heal up and practice that other teams don't enjoy.

I could have sworn that when I posted the standings showed Northeastern as having played one more game than we did. I'm sure I misread it and I apologize for that.

I am not sure as to what causes us to always being among the most conference games played by mid-January but it seems to be the case most years.

The primary point is that I am not sure why the conference would not mind such a disparity. It could have serious positive or negative repercussions.

I have to believe that a win over Q really helps push us more solidly into the mix for a tournament bid. Have to take care of business in HE obviously, with some tough teams PC/Lowell/BU/Maine but after the game at PC we have 7 straight home games.
 
Is this really early or am I misremembering?

No what would be smart is opening upper sections for PC @ XL on 2/1 & packing the place with comps for season ticket holders & youth/HS hockey teams. But they won't :confused:

The deadline for season ticket renewal is February 20. It was May 15th last year.

Not sure if thats an XL call or not but you're right, they were open for the Maine games last year at XL
 
Goaltending coach Vince Stalletti is a heck of a coach

Last season he was able to noticeably improve Sergeev’s game last season after a 2 month benching

Muszelik underperformed greatly at UNH and lost his job at UNH. He comes to UConn and is much improved. Muszelik is even much better than the first part of this season.

Tung is playing to a .941 save percentage and 1.70 goals against

And 8 overall in the top 20, plus QU from the Northeastern part of the country. NE hockey rules. (Not to be confused with NEU).
