My thought exactly.Road heavy? The OP only lists one away game.
Well, in his defense the LIE is a pretty heavy road because typically there are cars stopped all over it.Road heavy? The OP only lists one away game.
Source from ticket department is saying they haven't figured out how it's going to work with the new arena and season tickets yet. I'll try to get you guys updated on thatAny word on schedule or season tix @ the new Storrs arena?
Too early for the new rink. No way we schedule BU in Storrs with the small rink capacity.WBB also playing @ Maryland that day. Is this a potential opening for the new rink? Would be an ideal opponent but finals for students begin the next day.
Agreed, that'll be UConn. They did the same thing last year with the BU Red Hot Hockey game when they released their schedule - for some reason released the opponent as "TBD" when it was obvious who the game was. No idea why they do this.Cornell’s schedule has been released today and it includes a game at MSG on Saturday, November 26 @ 8:00 pm vs “TBA” (trust me, it’s UConn). Also, Frozen Fenway on Saturday, January 7 will be a doubleheader with UMass vs BC and UConn vs Northeastern.
Since the renovation, it's a great place to see a hockey game. Awesome sightlines and Cornell always brings a huge crowd to the game. Highly, highly recommended that anyone from UConn goes. UConn, from CU's perspective, is less of a "historic" rival so you might get less of their casual fans - that's a good thing. They have an enormous alumni base in NYC who all show up.For those who have never seen a hockey game at MSG, it sounds amazing.
MSG is the best sounding arena I've ever been to: the wood ceiling brings such a warmth to all the in-game sounds and the roar of the crowds sustain so nicely.
Has UConn ever parlayed a hockey game with a Mens'/Women's basketball game? It would be awesome to spend a full day on campus catching a game apiece.
The Rangers play Edmonton at 1:00.Not sure they'd do an afternoon BB game at MSG with a night college hockey game. Usually the Rangers play an afternoon game on that Saturday before the night game.
