UConn Men's Basketball: The Theory of Evolution

Conditioning has always been a priority for KO. I recall a few summers ago before he became head coach Ollie had a guard boot camp for Bazz, Boat, and Giffey. The idea was basically that you can't control who you play against or which team you play for, but one thing you can control is what physical shape you are in. I'm convinced that one of the big reasons Bazz does so well in the 4th quarter and in OT is because KO has been his coach.

A trademark of JC teams as well…….I think I know where it started for KO and I'm glad it's still in the family!!

Great video, I was going to post it, then I saw your thread...Yes, CHILLS! Crowd will be off the chain tonight.

IIRC in a UConn article they mentioned how they were bumping up the school of media, or whatever they call it. Lots of new faculty, too. I imagine that might have something to do with these.

Holy crap that was good. My only knock is the "Shabazz Napier wins it for the Huskies" at the end. Everyone knows how important he is to us. No need to close out a video about the team with that quote. JMO.

.-.
I watched this over and over again throughout the tournament. It was just spot on. Then, on the day of the NC, I posted the entire speech as my status on FB. It was our destiny to win that NC. I love that speech.

Whomever narrated this was wrong. The theory of evolution doe NOT say only the strong shall survive. In fact it's the theory is that it is not always the strongest who survive but those most adaptable to change.
