UConn did - they've stepped their game up.

They certainly have. Wish these guys were in place five years ago. That Hathaway era was a disaster in almost every facet regarding UConn athletics. He didn't negatively impact Geno, but the list of his failures is enormous. I can't believe he landed a job at Hofstra. If I were that university I would insist on checking the books for improprieties. Of course I never would have hired him if i were in a position to do so.

For as much Warde has taken, there is no doubt in my mind had him and Susan been here during Hathaway and the revolving door at president, we'd been in a P5 conference.

It seems like we finally " get it".

I don't know the specifics but it was announced in the spring that President Herbst hired a new PR person. They also hired a compliance person who was working in the NCAA compliance office to work in the AD office. Might have been beneficial for Facey. And Herbst made sure to mend the relationship between JC and the university which took a bad turn under Hathaway.

Totally a different handling of athletic affairs under her and Wards watch.
