I don't know how you can talk about pressure on a freshman Jefferson without talking about Bria's freshman year.

Far more pressure on Bria that year. Not even close.

Meghan just makes things up. CD and Bria both did time at the point. MoJet didn't run the team as much as Meghan implied.

Then again, there have been VERY long stretches in the past 3 games where UCONN has been a bit of a mess. Not a good sign against 3 very overmatched teams.

Interesting that Geno is leaving Banks in as the only pure guard with the Big lineup

Normally he would do that with Bria or Mo

The only aspect of the game that Stokes doesn't perform at considerably above average is score and maybe dribble.
Her defense is superb. Whether it's man to man D, jumping out of a zone to disrupt the shooter, rebounding, shot blocking, she does them all at a very high level. She has the best hands on the team in securing a rebound or loose ball. She's also mobile for a player her size. On offense, she constantly looks inside when she's at the high post and makes excellent passes to the low post and players cutting down low.
I think she'll be ready to take over for Dolson next year. I'm not saying she will be as effective as Dolson is (on and off the court). She won't have Stef's outside shot but she will be more than an adequate replacement.

this big line-up is an interesting look. Our bigs are outstanding passers for the most part and this is getting us looks down low. I'm not sure I'd have BB running the guard spot.
