I think the staff wants a 4th guard in case of injury to SN, RB or Calhoun. The walkon guard we have is not even as good as Beverly was his freshman year (anyone remember the win at Indiana with Dyson and that other kid suspended?).

I don't think people realize Selvie almost carried us to the FF

Bev definitely not JuCo.

Other Jucos:

Monquencio Hardnett (can't believe no one's mentioned Q!)
Dion Carson
Beau Archibald
Ryan Thompson

.-.
If I recall, he was a "preferred walk-on" transfer from Western - not a Juco transfer.

Ya your right, EJ's my cousin, he was originally a walk on from WesConn (he was conference MVP there)

With regards to this Jones fella, I like what I hear, but is it impossible to recruit a PG who's taller than 6'2", what's this kid like 5'10"......I'm still worried about the post season ban too next year, has to affect recruiting, no?

And a fellow Danbury High grad. I really admire EJ for giving up being a star in DIII to walk-on for the challenge of playing big time college ball. It's funny. There were better Danbury High players from DHS over the years like Anthony Harris (Syracuse/Hawaii) and Marcus McCullough (Kansas State), many of whom wasted their talent, yet EJ played on for an elite program and got a national championship. He has also had a very good pro career in England.

Never knew EJ went to Western. That's awesome. Too bad we didn't have anybody like that when I was there.

Is there a coincidence with this and the eligibility issue regarding RB?

.-.
Chuck? Aleksinas? He was a Kentucky transfer...
Chuck Aleksinas should be the big money question answer on Jepardy - the UConn edition.

Don't fret, Bazz will be back. Where in world do you think he'd go? A scoring pg is more like a replacement for RB. With the latest ripple of news and sitting out again , I fear the worst. I hate AAU always have always will.

Skinner Fredericks for sure, also add Ray Broxton, Willie McCloud and Spider Ursery to the list.
