Their last win was in '95.

He randomly chose 9 years. If you take the last 10 years, UConn has made two Final Fours.
I can’t even like your post because I lost that privilege. But yes, it’s wild with that nonsense.

But Kentucky is bad even when they are good, and they are considered a blue blood.

Maybe since 2021. Kind of funny their official site stopped keep track after the 2021 season.

I think that with NIL and the Transfer Portal, the era of the Blue Blood program is probably ending. Talent will be spread out, and there are a lot more FAU's and SDSU's or Creighton's making the Final 8 and Final 4 in the future.

Correct, if you mean the historical blue blood are going to get more NIL money and first crack at the portal.

Creighton isn't the same as SDSU and FAU.

They've played in the Big East for a decade now and score four star recruits and even had a commitment from a 5 at one point.

But if we’re a blue blood, we have to be associated with Duke fans… The argument is tiresome anyways, cause it’s never a label everyone agrees on. If there’s ever a set criteria to the label that everyone agrees on, then I think it’ll be worth trying to attain.

I’m fine with being the best New Blood program, it means you’ve had the most recent success. Which is really all I care about.

And 2020 doesn't count since there was no NCAA tournament that year. You are just wrong with your math anyway you slice it.

They were 19/12. It's cute you think they would have gone dancing.

UCONN has not had a track record of winning since 2014. A blue blood needs to be good even when they are bad.

Except that for UConn, modern history started just 33 years ago. Before 1990, if someone had told you UConn would even make ONE final four you would have laughed at them.

Instead, they've been possibly THE most successful program in the sport. And that includes 5ish years in the wilderness

UConn is in it's own category. There's UConn then all the Blue Bloods. Both Men and Women.

I can't tell for sure which people are playing along with the, uh, "troll," and which people are actually being trolled. It'd be weirder if no one was legit being trolled, but y'all were going through this exercise anyway, like some sort of ritual prayer. Or maybe you're just trying to lure fans of other teams into joining the "debate." I was going to say that board dynamics were a lot simpler back in the 1990's, but thinking about it, that might not be true either. I think it was always this way, just with UMass fans added to the mix.
