I think Hurley even called them soft. The intensity was good versus Marquette but the team does get routinely out rebounded
Only thing that cures tendinitis is rest. Or just deal with the pain.
I think Hurley had other motives for saying that when he did. Our rebounding issue wasn't a toughness thing in my opinion. Rebounding is a skill. It takes timing, positional awareness, and good hands. All three of which some of our guys struggle with(Samson, solo). Guys like Hass, Reed, Karaban, Stewie and Ross are actually pretty good rebounders for their position. Whenever Samson is your starting big rebounding will be off and on. He just doesn't possess the skills to be a proficient rebounder. But I wouldn't call him soft.

Solo is much improved lately. In his last 4 games he had: 6, 11, 5 and 11 again. That's pretty good from the 2G position.

Tendinitis can last years
His brother had a degenerative issue with I think his meniscus. Not sure but whatever it was it was clearly going to compromise his health at an early age so they (he, his family and the staff) decided to have him stop playing. Tendinitis can be chronic but as I understand it is the swelling of the tendon from overuse.
I say run and run but run with the pass not the dribble. If we can beat their press by doing that Pitino will call it off. The guy that scares me is Deivon Smith. Lightening fast.
