UConn in Unrivaled

I have a feeling that the mask has to be considered part of the face, just as a knee brace is part of the leg (which can be fouled if someone knocks into your knee).
That's why I said I don't know as I'm not clear on how masks are perceived with respect to part of the body.

Paige with a pretty good line tonight vs the Rose with 32 points, 11 assists and 0 turnovers as the Breeze avenged an earlier loss and demolished Chelsea Gray and company.
She's now 3rd in scoring (24.7), #6 in FG% at 55.3% (actually 1st among guards), 3rd in 3 Pt% at 44.1%, only 10th in FT% at 89.3% (as she missed 1 out of 3 tonight) & 1st in Ast at 6.9. Oh, and she has a 3 to 1 Ast to TO ratio.

Paige is dominating and could be the MVP.

Last year, the capacity was 850. They were supposed to expand it to 1,000 for 2026.
It’s just inconceivable to me that they would be playing in such small venues! Even a thousand is imo ludicrous. How can they expect to turn a profit or for that matter be seen as a serious league playing in front of 850 people?

While I get your point about venue sizes, the costs associated with larger venues aren't exactly cheap. Building it up slowly versus trying to go big too soon could be the better approach long term.

Regarding profitability, the league needs more than just ticket sales to be viable. So far, it looks they they're doing something right based on this Yahoo article. Their revenue is projected to increase by 48%, and merchandise sales are up 54%. Their event in Philadelphia sold out and they earned over $2 million in revenue.
