UConn in the Pros December 2025

Some Huskies in Europe:

Vital: 21.3 pts on 54%, 32%, 85% splits. Unfortunately, his team is not playing European basketball this year.

Rj Cole: 15.6 pts on 49.3%, 36.7%, 96.2% splits
Struggling a bit in European competition: 11.9 pts on 38.7%, 32.6%, 91.1% splits

More huskies:

Adama: Not getting that much run
5.7 pts on 52.3%, 50%, 81.3% splits
Ironically performing better on European competition: 7.8 pts on 58.6%, 40%, 87.5% splits
The guy playing over him at the 4, Amar Alibegovic, played at St. JOHNS.

You can see from these highlights that the defensive game plan is back off him and bait him into long range shots. However, if he starts shooting 3s above 30%, say 34%, teams will have to step out and guard him by the 3pt line which will allow Steph to drive to the basket-he will be a nightmare to defend against.

A Spurs/Thunder rivalry would be great for the league, already a lil bit extra on some of these fouls in the first quarter

Steph cooked that whole first quarter and then they’ve completely gone away from him when he’s been in this second quarter

Steph gotta chill with the TOs, was playing a clean game up until these last few possessions in the 4th, letting OKC getting back in it

I knew people were way too slow with their timelines for the Spurs when they were talking three years from now. I expected them to be challengers for the title by the end of this season but not being quite ready. They're clearly already ready and any trading for a superstar talk was ridiculous. They already have two of them and Fox and Harper are awesome along with serious depth. They combat all the things the Thunder are so good at, Caruso and Dort can't bully Castle and Chet and Hartenstein can't slow down Wemby. OKC is young, versatile, great on D and athletic. The Spurs are younger, more versatile, even better on D and more athletic.

Flagg stroking will be too strong for that to happen with the 25-and-under crew, hate to say
Also, Anthony Edwards, Cade Cunningham, Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Maxey, Donovan Mitchell, etc. But yeah, Castle is awesome, and I love how universally respected he is by all. It isn’t just a UConn fan thing. Hopefully the Giannis to the Spurs talk is officially dead. They have their guys, and can just make moves on the margins as needed. They’re a problem for OKC for sure.

How many of those guys are under 25?

Agree with everything except Spurs being better on D. OKC is All-Time defensively. Stats back that up.
