UConn in the NFL

Who here had Van Demark getting more PT than Haynes this year. Kid looks good.
I knew VDM would eventually become a starter, but would need more time to progress and Haynes would step right in and go. Rolls really reversed. I think Haynes will get significantly more playing time next year.

Eric Watts and Ryan Van Demark did a jersey exchange after the Bills Jets game!

Fatukasi is looking stronger than ever.
the Jets liked him and wanted him to stay..they just couldn’t pay what Jacksonville paid.

Guy has made a lifetime's money already. These NFL salary pages are always a bit wonky and a bit different but he's north of $25M in career earnings. To me, this is what you sell recruits on. You don't have to come to UConn as a 4 or 5 star. Come here, work your butt off, get seen on film and you will earn the right to make a career for yourself.

FWIW, Chase Lundt was "picked" on 98.5, the Sports Hub, Draft dart board, by the afternoon guys Felger and Maz, on their show Monday. As was expected, they trashed him mercilessly, as anything UCONN, they hate passionately. Why do I watch it?
Maybe because they are hyper critical?
Maybe because they are provincial?
Maybe because they have nothing better to do?
No matter. Just a FWIW posting.

NFL almost here. I read the other day that last week was the last week until next year with no NFL games. Of course this includes preseason games.
