Peart will be drafted there is no doubt. I think he will surprise with his length and overall ability to play either right or left side.

I think no worse than a mid 3rd round but should be picked in round two at worse.

Players with seven or more years of experience will have a minimum salary of $1.05 million in 2020 under the new deal, up from either $810,000 (for players with seven to nine years of experience) or $910,000 (for players with 10 or more years of experience).

The SI mock has him mid-50’s. End of 2nd.

>>The New England Patriots have informed safety Obi Melifonwu of his release, according to ESPN's Field Yates.

Melifonwu spent most of the last two seasons in New England. He first signed with the Patriots in Nov. 2018, then signed to their practice squad after being released early in the 2019 season.

The safety never made enough headway to carve out a role on special teams and never had much of a shot at earning regular defensive snaps at safety.<<

He’s just been killed by injuries, really unfortunate. I hope he can get healthy and at a minimum carve out a career as a special teams guy.

Was hoping he'd get some better insight along he way too. He has the physical tools.

>> According to Over the Cap, Peart’s contract value is projected to be $4.499 million, including an $832,292 signing bonus. He will count for $818,073 against the cap for 2020 once the Top-51 rule expires at the end of the preseason. Until then, only Peart's prorated signing bonus will count against the cap.<<
