UConn in the NFL

Always said this kid was a legit prospect. Shocked he didn't get more love at draft time.

Knappe, Thomas, and Obi would have drafted higher if the team wasn't an embarrassment last season

Honestly, just how bad were the last two coaching regimes?

The Stupid Twins put Knappe at DE. Crazy Bob had Knappe and Levy on the right side last season and we couldn't run over there.

Boggles the mind.

Boggles the mind.

It certainly does. Coaching and confidence were the two fundamental missing pieces of our program. We've had players. Now we've got the coaching (undeniably better) and the players are more psyched (and rationally confident) than I've ever seen in the last 5 years. We're going to win in an exciting fashion, fill the stadium more and more as each week passes, and shock the freaking football world when it's over.

Does anyone know if Obi played last night? He's not in the box score. Hoping for a Noel Thomas sighting today with the Lions.

He did not - he was dinged up and missed a few practices this week so he was held out.

I saw Noel's catch live, it was a bullet on a slant route with some YAC. Really nice. He played some in the 4th Q but was never targeted.
