UConn in the NFL

Position First > Second > Third > Fourth
DL Leonard Williams > Folorunso Fatukasi > Xavier Cooper > Kendall Reyes

Good for Folorinso but surprised to see Kendall Reyes at 4th in a depth chart. I really expected a good NFL career for Kendall. However he has made it 6 years in this brutal league.

Yup... unfortunately he slid big time when he left San Diego. Didn’t play a down last year. Approaching 30 - uphill climb for the big man.

Boyle's in the NFL? What a difference escaping from Dibacle's system made.

Boyle's in the NFL?

Is this a question of surprise? The sort answer is: No, he is not. He is 4th on the Packers preseason depth chart, with a chance to make their practice squad.

Yes, it was mild surprise based on what a rough go he had at UConn (although I know he had a much better stint at E. Kentucky.) He even had 2 TD passes this weekend.

Eh...In context, I don't put to much stock in the 2 TDs, personally. Boyle has a canon and NFL teams love QBs who can throw 70 yards in the air. Especially when he costs the Packers virtually nothing.

Nick Williams is also an outstanding gunner on Special Teams. He's as tough (and as fast) as they come.

Go Nicky-Will!!

Titans Wide Receiver Nick Williams Making Case To Be On 53-Man Roster
Erick Bacharach Nashville Tennessean August 14, 2018

“There was plenty to like about Nick Williams' performance Thursday in the preseason opener. The Titans wide receiver had the team's biggest play yardage-wise, when he ran a crisp slant route, caught a laser from Marcus Mariota and ran about 30 yards after the catch for a 38-yard gain that helped set up a Titans touchdown. That play, though isn’t what struck coach Mike Vrabel the most. "Receivers that make tackles on kickoffs on the 10-yard line tend to get noticed and tend to have a chance to stick around."
